Our Trip to the Zoo.

On Monday the 1st of July, the Year 0 and Year 1 students ALL went to the zoo.

We were V-E-R-Y excited!

We found out about some New Zealand native animals.

We had some morning tea and watched the elephants having a dust bath.

It looked like fun!

Afterwards, I sat on the play elephant and Mrs Kerr took my photo.

We had a GREAT day at the zoo and we want to go back again!

Celebrating Matariki 2019.

We had breakfast together to celebrate Matariki and 

we made a special headband with 7 stars on it.

Football on the Field.

We went to play soccer on the big field. 

Some people had yellow shirts for their team and some people did not. 

I was learning how to control the soccer ball with my feet.

Look At My Flower.

I chose 4 pieces of tissue paper.

I folded them over, under, over, under.

I chose my stalk for my flower.

I pulled the papers apart to make 

MY BEAUTIFUL FLOWER.
